Tonight I found myself in a rather heated conversation with a few friends. It is the norm not to delve into the realm of religion or politics but for some reason, those topics came to the fore. I came away realizing that I need to develop better communication skills in order to respond to fears like - "a global civilization will destroy local cultures and idiosyncracies".

I am counting on the Auckland Conference for inspiration.

My boss invited me to a presentation by several of the top motivational speakers a week after I return from Auckland. I told him that if I did not return motivated from NZ, NOTHING would work for me!

No more deflections... to the tasks at hand!

Totally been there Leila. Now more than ever I hear this little voice inside me asking incessantly how I'm spending every minute of every day! It can be especially weighty when we bring ourselves to account each day and ask what we have done to in some way serve humanity and this Cause. Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to Part deux. ps feel better!
