		<description>Thank you for the wonderful article. I have been thinking about the implications of exhortations such as the last quote in the article, on what social policy should be shaped. For example: in South Africa, as you are aware, the roads infrastructure is built for the well-off. The roads network is for cars and trucks, and not for walking or cycling. It is difficult to see the fairness, let alone justice of this practice, when the money accumulated by the state is being used to finance these roads. There are, of course, other examples.
It seems important that at every little opportunity, we shed light on these evidences of a lack of consideration for the whole, which are often wrongly portrayed as technical issues requiring experts.</description>
