None of us like tests, but "…poverty, disease, bereavement, they seem to be part of the polish God employs to make us finer, and enable us to reflect more of His attributes!" (Shoghi Effendi, Abuse and Violence: Reasons and Remedies, p. 62)

Thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately in the world these kinds of stories are more than common. Sadly it is not until it personally affects us or we experience it ourselves that most of us really start to care and even think about these issues as urgent and in desperate need of collective action.

I hope many more people read this story or go out to the real world and have a chance to meditate on their own lives and the insignificance of some things we consider to be problems or troubles that compared to others' situations are no more than a tiny little grain of sand in their path to happiness.

Bless Ms. Helvy's soul. I will think of her in my prayers.
